He started his career as a stage singer a decade ago. He attained a niche by singing in several stage shows besides coming out with albums ranging from pop to devotionals to remix songs. Thanks to director Bala, he made his debut as an actor in 'Nandha'. He has grown in stature to play the hero in 'Dindigul Sarathy'. Today Karunaas takes a new avatar as a musician.

He will be composing music along with Paul J for Ragava Larencce starrer 'Rajathi Raja'. The movie being produced and directed by Sakthi Chidambaram features Lawrence Raghavendra in the lead role besides five leading ladies – Meenakshi, Snightha, Mumtaz, Kiran and Kamna Jethmalani.

My wife Gracy always believed that I would one day become a music composer. Her dream is now fulfilled with 'Rajathi Raja'. Paul J is my close friend and we have been associated for the past two decades'.

The highlight of the album is the remix of the popular yesteryear number Elandha Pazham from 'Panama Pasama'. It would be shot on Larencce and Meenakshi. Sakthi Chidambaram said the songs are totally different and sounds new. Karunaas is a bundle of energy who is a talented musician too.

Karunaas has in him to become a great music director if he continues to concentrate on music inspite of his busy acting schedule.
