Director Bala is pinning high hopes that his 'Naan Kadavul' will fetch him several national awards.

The movie starring Arya and Pooja, is said to a release for Pongal 2009. The film is a result of my toil for over four years. The movie was conceived and executed with co-operation from my crew and co-stars, Bala said.

Speaking about the film, he said, "A host of 120 people from Periya Kulam village have acted in the movie and all have dubbed their own voice."

Sources say Pooja, who has dubbed her own voice too, will be admired for her astounding performance. The climax fights were shot for over 26 days. The post-production works are on and buzz is that the DI works are not being done for the director is aspiring for a National award.
