Bhargavi’s parents were deeply bereaved by their daughter’s untimely demise. Media people contacted them to enquire about this sad news.

The actress’s father said, “We know him (Praveen) only as a professional acquaintance to our daughter. He used to visit our home and speak to us. During those times, he was quite calm and spoke only about his job. He used to mind his own business and I am sure apart from this, no other relationship exists between him and my daughter. We never had the idea to marry her to him at all costs. This is what I can tell you and it’s the truth.”

Her mother who was gripped in sorrow said, “She stayed with us for the past three days and left just last night for an orchestra program. As she has to attend a movie shoot tomorrow, she left a day earlier. If I had a suspicion about this impending danger, I would have never sent my girl back.”

People who reside around Bhargavi’s house are stunned after hearing the news of her death. On being enquired they say that she’s a bold girl and wouldn’t take a decision like this.

She has been living here for the past four years. We know her very well and she’s a nice person. Often Praveen/ Bujji used to visit her by coming here. She introduced him to us as one of her relatives as a maternal uncle. In this case, it doesn’t seem like a suicide attempt. If it is one as suspected by the police and media, he wouldn’t be carrying a knife with him, say the neighbors.
