With the yesteryear titles being recycled, yesteryear songs being remixed, yesteryear movies being remade, it gives us a thought whether creativity is running out of Kollywood. The super hit romantic comedy 'Jab We Met' in Hindi is being remade in Tamil by Moserbaer which will be directed by 'Jeyam Kondan' Kannan.

When asked whether the puissance of a director may go haywire especially when venturing into remake movies, Kannan said, "It is not that simple to remake movies effortlessly. Some have turned out to be flops and some others super hits. This unpredictability stands as a testimony that remakes also require meticulous treatment and scrupulous effort in order to be successful."

'Jab We Met' was set in the Punjabi milieu whereas the Tamil remake will be revolving around a rural atmosphere. Some hill stations rich in green terrains like Ooty are also being considered since the crux of the movie is based on romance.
