The numero uno actress Aishwarya Rai undoubtedly should be going gaga as she has been roped in to work with two mega ventures of ace directors Maniratnam and Shankar simultaneously. It is best known that the actress pairs with Superstar in Endhiran-The Robot, who was constantly sought after by Rajnikant for some of his films earlier. No wonder that Aishwarya Rai has been a part of this giant-film ‘Endhiran’, which is in a keen race with ‘Marmayogi’ to get an international status and to become India’s costliest film ever made.

The actress on ‘Endhiran’ says, 'Director Shankar had approached me previously to work with him, but it never materialized. Finally, everything landed in place and here we are together after ten years.'

Maniratnam’s upcoming bilingual film also has Aishwarya in the female lead role in both the versions, Tamil and Hindi. The Hindi version of the film has been titled as ‘Ravanna’ where as the Tamil title is in hard waters and it is being denoted as ‘Production no: 11’ for now.

On Mani's ‘Ravanna’ with Abhishek, she said, 'I don't want to reveal much about it but in another few days, we will start shooting for the movie. I am looking forward to working again with Manirathnam.’
