After a gap of an year Mohanlal is back, working with his favorite director Shaji Kailas, with whom Lal has essayed maximum hits. This new film titled 'Red Chillies' is planned as an edge of the seat entertainer in the scripts of A K Sajan.

Produced by Renjith Rejaputra, this is the come back movie of the trio behind the super hit 'Chinthamani Kolacase'.

The shooting of the film has already started in Kochi. Mohanlal is looking beautiful as Omar, a Gulf based NRI who is running an FM station at Kochi. He has nine RJ's in his firm popularly called as 'Red Chillies' who all are madly in love with Omar.

Neither of them has actually seen Omar, but is in constant connection with him via mails and phones. Omar promises to join them for the first time on a New Year eve, but what happens on the same night is a cold blooded murder. The movie will present nine new girls to Mollywood as the title characters.

‘Red Chillies’ is all set to grace the theatres of Kerala as a Christmas release.
