With all decks cleared for the release of Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's film 'Kuselan' on Thursday evening after the actor expressed regret about the statements he had made in a protest meeting in Chennai, the movie released amidst fanfare in Bangalore and elsewhere in Karnataka.

The Karnataka region Tamil rights for the film has been bought by Mr. Niranjan with a price range of Rs.1.5 to 2 crores.

On Friday morning Mr Niranjan arranged a special screening of 'Kuselan' at the Arjun Arts Studio near 18th cross Malleswaram.

As expected the crowd for the 4.30 pm show of 'Kuselan' was not all that good because of the eclipse. The movie is expected to do very well in Karnataka as well.
