Now that his long pending 'Dhaam Dhoom' is ready for release, 'Jayam' Ravi is shooting for 'Peranmai' in a relaxed manner.

Says 'Jayam' Ravi, “We are shooting 'Peranmai' with tremendous optimism. Director Jananathan is leading us from the front. For the first time I am doing the role of a forest officer. Quite like his previous films 'Iyarkai' and 'E', 'Peranmai' too is a different attempt by Jananathan”.

Adding more, he said “I am happy that the audience doesn’t typecast me as an actor who can do only action or romantic films. I have the liberty to work in any genre of film. I consider this a big boon”.

Ravi is happy that 'Santosh Subramaniyam' clicked big time at the box office. Buzz is that he may work in Ameer's movie very soon.

“Doing an action-packed role is demanding. One needs to keep his body in shape and undergo an appropriate diet”, he says.
