Movies on IT firms and BPOs seem to be the latest craze in Tamil cinema. Following the success of 'Yaradi Nee Mohini', Gautham Menon is all set to churn out 'Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam' starring Trisha which is about life among youth in an IT firm.

Similarly, director Kanmani is busy shaping up a film titled 'Chennai Pattanam', which is inspired by a similar theme. The movie revolves around a group of friends who work in an IT firm and chronicles their lives.

The movie is produced by Sri Balaji Arts and newcomers Vamsi, Anandh, Gowtham, Malinga, Sankalp, Priyanka, Pooja, Sowmya and Karuna form part of the cast. Manivannan and Pandiarajan play prominent roles in 'Chennai Pattanam'.
