Ajith's friend has reportedly opened a restaurant in Velachery serving Chinese food. Business started off along the lines of how it would be for a new Chinese restaurant. But then 'Thala' Ajith decided to see for himself as to how his buddy's business was doing and also to check out the quality of food there. This reportedly happened on the third day after the restaurant had opened.

Ajith's presence caused quite some excitement. Noticing this, Ajith's buddy got him to sit in the cash counter for some time. News spread like wildfire in the locality and numerous 'Thala' fans came to the restaurant. A novel way of marketing indeed.

Incidentally, most in the locality have begun to think it is Ajith's restaurant and are becoming regular patrons.
