Actress Sandhya had a dream beginning with her debut film 'Kadhal'. She had instantaneously become a household name in Tamilnadu. She then proceeded to work in many movies some of which were successful and the others damp squibs.
Offers keep coming in for this young actress and she was offered a role in Larencce's 'Rajathi Raja' to be directed by Sakthi Chidambaram. Sandhya had refused to be part of the movie and has done a bit of explaining recently.
Says Sandhya, 'I feel a bit finicky even if there are two heroines in a film because acting scope is reduced that much. Just can't imagine being one of six heroines in a film. 'Rajathi Raja' has six heroines and one hero. That is why I said no'.
She also added that she's love to do meaningful and meaty roles such that she can exhibit her acting skills.
Sandhya is currently working for 'Odipollama' in which she plays a college student. She will also be seen in a Kannada film in which she pairs with Shivaraj Kumar.
Sandhya says, she has no problems playing glamorous roles as long as they are well within the boundaries of decency.
