Samiksha made her foray in Kollywood with ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’. In spite of a good beginning, she could not make it big in Tamil cinema.

She is now staging a comeback with ‘Karthigai’, a movie that is based on the bond between a father, son and his siblings. Kollywood glamdoll Malavika is also in the cast.

M Anjaneya, a popular producer in Tollywood, is foraying to Tamil with ‘Karthigai’. He has produced some hit movies in Telugu including Nayantara-Naresh starrer ‘Seema Sastri’ and ‘Girlfriend’.

‘Whistle’ fame Vikramaditya is playing the lead role. Suman, Kadhal Dhandapani, Suman Shetty, Rani, Sathyan, and Srihari are also in the cast.

Veera has penned the story and screenplay, besides directing the movie. The other credits are Deva (music), Snehan (lyrics), Ashokraj (choreography).
