The popular Punjabi girl, Charmme, had become a special attraction in the Telugu film industry and several producers and directors are after her to do heroine-oriented subjects with her, as her recent films, 'Anukokunda Oka Roju' and 'Mantra' became big hits.
Prabhu Salmon is now directing a film with Charmme as heroine simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages. P Maheshbabu and D Nageswara Rao are jointly producing the film on the banner of Cosmos Entertainment and Future Films.
'16 Days' is the title under active consideration for the film. The story revolves around hero Aravind and heroine Charmme. It is in fact a 16-day journey involving both of them.
Over 50 per cent of the film was already shot and the latest schedule is likely to begin very soon. Kota Srinivasa Rao, Manorama, Brahmanandam, Jayaprakash Reddy and others are in the cast.
The producers are making efforts to release the film during the latter half of this year.
