The Delhi High Court has adjourned the hearing on Subhash Ghai's 'Black & white' till 23rd May 2008. Earlier this month Khalid Alvi, brother of congress MP Rashid Alvi had filed a petition against the film stating that film's integral character 'Rajan Mathur' an Urdu professor from Zakir Hussain college played by Anil Kapoor who transforms a suicide bomber is based on him, also the character of Rajya Sabha member in the film, who supports the terrorist played by Akash Khurana resembles his brother MP Rashid Alvi.
Even after such ludicrous allegation, the film is growing at the box office too on the strength of its appreciation by word of mouth.
Black & White is the story of a terrorist and his journey to accomplish his only mission in life. A journey that lasts for 15 days in the heart of Old Delhi, a journey that changes his life.
The film was released worldwide on 7th March 08 under the Mukta Searchlight banner.
