Everyone knows that the title of Rajinikanth – Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Robot’ would probably be changed in due course keeping an eye on tax concession given by Tamil Nadu government for Tamil titles.

Though ‘Robot’ is director Shankar’s favorite title, he is expected to change the title for practical reasons and for better appeal with local flavor.

It is said that veteran writer Sujatha, the dialogue writer of the mega project, has suggested a title. It is believed that he has suggested ‘Iyandiran’ or ‘Iyandira’. The title in Tamil is closer to the meaning conveyed by ‘Robot’.

It is worth recalling that Sujatha has written a novel revolving around an all powerful machine. The title was ‘En Iniya Iyandira’ (my beloved machine).
