Earlier the movie was planned to be a Republic Day (January 26) release. But now it has been advanced to Pongal. The team is gearing up to wrap up all the work to bring it on Pongal day.

This sudden development is said to have affected some small budgeted films. The entry of ‘Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan’ has made it difficult for small budget films to find theaters.

Since Vadivelu’s earlier film as hero ‘Imsai Arasan 23aam Pulikesi’ had an excellent opening, the expectations for ‘Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan’ is increased. So it has got some premiere theaters and this has affected the small films.
