Manoj has lost oodles of weight and is looking toned. He is all set to act in a film soon, which will be produced by Dr Mohan Babu under the Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Films' banner.

He is doing a film with Ajay Sastri, who worked as an assistant to Krishna Vamsi. It is likely to be called Nenu Meeku Telusa?.

But what came as a surprise to many at the audio launch of his brother's film was the fact that he had given playback for one of the songs.

Not exactly a full song, but he did rap for a song. A take off from his father’s hit dialogue, he repeated it on stage. We must confess, he was good from what he let us hear.
