Recently some police officers visited the shooting spot of director Seeman’s 'Vazhthukal', starring Madhavan and Bhavana. In the wake of his controversial speech on Sri Lankan Tamils rendered in Canada recently, the local people thought that he was in for some trouble.

But it was not to be. A car came there after a while and poet cum a Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi, daughter of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi , stepped out from the car. Why this sudden visit? May be your question, to answer it all Seeman came out of the house to greet the poet MP with a broad smile.

The underlying suspense behind this visit with tight security is none other than that Kanimozhi has accepted to become visible on screen in Seeman’s 'Vazhthukal' following his request. She was on the shooting spot for about half an hour to act in a scene. She conveys her wishes to Madhavan, is the crux of the scene. As soon as she checked out from the spot the police vacated the area without more ado.
