We have films discussing public issues but we don’t have much scope for the public to debate on the films. Pyramid Saimira International has decided to give people a chance to air their opinions in public on a debate forum.

The company, which has procured the distributing rights, has arranged a debate forum to discuss the film and its content in Kalaivaanar Arangam in Chennai today (December 15) at 6.30 PM. Eminent speakers from different fields will participate in the debate. Madhavan and Seeman will be among those would be present there to respond to the people’s responses to the film. Sathyaraj will moderate the debate.

Some would like to term such events as marketing technique but since public debate in any form for any reason is always a healthy thing to happen, we have to appreciate such efforts. It would enable the filmmakers understand the feelings of people through direct interaction. It will also give the general public to vent their feelings to the persons who talk about their problems.
