At Ramanaidu Studios, rumours are rife that Venkatesh could be playing a double role in the Telugu remake of the film Vel. The film stars Surya and Asin in Tamil.
It was released for Deepavali in Tamil Nadu and hasnÂt gone too well with the audience reportedly.
So, though there were plans of dubbing it into Telugu, now, it is heard that some filmmakers are keen on making it in Telugu with Venkatesh.
On his part, Venky has already heard the script, but is not sure if it will work in Telugu.
So, he is said to be procrastinating about giving the nod. On the other hand, the makers are promising to change the script to suit the Telugu audience.
It's a game of wait and watch for now.
