Padmapriya walks out of 'Mirugam' sets!

The shooting of 'Mirugam' directed by 'Uyir' fame Samy came to a halt on Friday after actress Padmapriya walked out of the sets in a tiff with the director.

The movie is based on real-life incident features Padmapriya in the lead role. As soon as the shooting commenced on Friday, the trouble erupted.

The climax was shot in a village near Madurai. The actress reportedly shot for climax and took several takes an annoyed Samy reportedly assaulted Padmapriya for not getting the act right.

An agitated Padmapriya immediately took an auto and moved out of the sets. Also she preferred to lodge a complaint with Nadigar Sangam.

'The actress took over Rs 13 lakh to act in the movie. Since the shooting could not be completed on time, we even paid her more. It is rather unfortunate that she chose to walk out of the sets.' adds Samy.
