Directed and produced by Kuchipudi Venkat on the banner of Black and Eight Act the shooting of 'John Apparao 40 Plus' with Krishna Bhagawan, Simran and Ruthika in the lead is progressing at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

Director-cum-producer says, 'When you listen to the title 'John Apparao 40 Plus' itself you will get a smile. The hero of the film is a fashion designer. He postpones his marriage due to some responsibilities. After he becomes free, he crosses 40 years of age. He comes across the heroine when he was in search of a woman as his life partner. The twists that take place in his life form part of the remaining story.'

Sayaji Shinde, Ali, Brahmanandam, Jeeva, Melkote and others are in the cast.

Camera is by Samir Tahir, music is by Kiran Varanasi, while P Anilkumar Reddy and Dandamudi Sambasiva Rao are the co-producers.
