Thamizh MA, directed by debutant Ram, a one-time associate of Balu Mahendra, starring Jeeva is ready for release.

According to Ram, the movie carries a lofty theme. "It is the story of a Tamil postgraduate who is unable to carve a niche for him and the pains he has to undergo in the process. A newcomer Anjali plays opposite Jeeva".

Karunaas plays a prominent role while director Azhagam Perumal is also in the cast.

Jeeva appears in four different roles. According to Jeeva, "It is one of the challenging roles that I have played in my short career so far. All credits to Ram for conceiving a different storyline. It carries a strong message too".

"Yuvanshankar's music is a major highlight. He has brought out the emotions and travails of the male protagonist", says Ram.
