It is unfortunate that multi-starrer films are rarity in Tamil cinema, says Madhavan.

Awaiting the release of his action-packed film Arya, Madhavan says, "in Bollywood popular stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan do come together for a film. Unfortunately such a scenario is missing in Tamil cinema".

Madhavan wants to act in a film along with the likes of Vijay, Ajith and Vikram.

On Arya, he says, "It is one of the best action-packed film that I had ever acted. Though there is a delay in its release (slated for release on 3 August), I am confident that it would click with the masses.

Though I play a macho-man in the movie, I don't want myself to be branded as an actor, who can do only romantic or action flicks. I am ready to explore different avenues and act in varied roles".
