With his much-awaited Pallikoodam ready for release, cinematographer - director Thangar Bachchan has commenced shooting for his next venture which features Sathyaraj and Archana in the lead roles.

It is again inspired by one of Thangar's novels - Onbathu Rupai Nottu. A major portion of the movie has already been shot.

Thangar and Sathyaraj developed an excellent rapport while shooting for Periyar. Sathyaraj played the title role in the movie for which Thangar had cranked the camera.

Thangar and Sathyaraj come together for the movie which is titled Madhavan. Sathyaraj plays the title role in the movie and is called Madhavan Padayachi in the film.

Thangar says, “It is an earthy Tamil film. There is no influence of any alien culture in it. It is again an emotional entertainer, which speaks about the culture and values of Tamil”.

“Sathyaraj is a phenomenal actor and has sincerity and honesty written all over him”, adds Thangar.
