Kamal Haasan is one rare actor who dares to experiment on screen. A decade ago, when the technology had not so much inroads in Kollywood, he managed guts to come out with Aboorva Sagodharargal in which he played a short man.

Today for his Dasavatharam, he is doing the opposite. Among the ten different roles that he would be playing in the movie includes one in which he appears as a 'tallest' man. Kamal Haasan had taken great efforts to shoot those scenes. He appears as a middle-aged man who is over seven feet tall. Also the actor has played the roles of an old woman, a pop singer among others.

Directed by K S Ravikumar, Dasavatharam would be completed at the earliest to facilitate a Deepavali release. Asin and Mallika Sherawat share the screen with Kamal.
