It is well aware that 'Athanokkade' produced on the banner of NTR Arts and directed by Surender Reddy with Nandamuri Kalyanram was proved to be a blockbuster and successfully ran for 100 days.

It is also well-known that Swarna Subba Rao had directed 'Vijayendra Varma' produced by Konda Krishnamraju with Balakrishna as hero. That Swarna Subba Rao is directing a film to be produced by Nandamuri Kalyanram on the banner of NTR Arts, with the latter playing a hero.

'Okkadostunnadu' is the title confirmed for the movie. Maestro Illayaraja is going to score music for the movie, while Ramprasad would be the cinematographer.

Yet another interesting feature in this film is that Kalyanram is playing dual role in the movie. After the late NTR, Balakrishna and the NTR Junior, it was Kalyanram who is playing a dual role in Nandamuri clan.
