Recreating the famous temple in Chennai - Thenavattu

Koothandavar temple, located at a remote village in Villupuram district is famous for its annual festival in which transgender from all over the world take part.

A huge set replicating the temple will be erected in Chennai next month to shoot important sequences for Jeeva starrer Thenavattu. Thenavattu starring Jeeva has already hit the floors.

Shooting commenced at the temple a few weeks ago. Art director Roopesh is busy erecting a huge set resembling the temple at YMCA Grounds in Chennai.
