The success of Naan Avanillai has brought star status for director Selvah. The director, who was planning a remake of K Balachander's yesteryear classic Nootrukku Nooru, has hit a jackpot now.

He has been assigned to wield the megaphone for a movie to be produced by veteran director K B's home production Kavithalaya.

Selvah says, “It is an honor to work in Kavithalaya Banner”. Also he has accepted to do a movie for Nemichand Japak, who produced Naan Avanillai.

Selvah started his successful journey in Tamil cinema with Amaravathy and was instrumental in getting recognition for Ajith among the movie-goers in the State.
