Shaam, who was shooting for Thoondil in Bangkok, had a close shave recently. The ski-boat that he traveled to shoot for a sequence at an Island in Bangkok seashore got capsized and the actor almost drowned.

According to Shaam, “I should thank the Almighty for my miraculous escape. We ventured to an island to shoot a scene for Thoondil being directed by Adhiyaman. I went around the sea with my assistant Satheesh in a ski-boat. Unfortunately, it got capsized and I almost lost control and fell into the water. Immediately the crew rushed to our rescue and rushed Satheesh and me to the hospital. After a couple of hours, I gained my conscious back while Satheesh went critical”.

Thoondil stars Sandhya, Ramya opposite Shaam. The shooting for the movie is on at Bangkok.

Shaam is also playing the lead role in a movie opposite Sneha.
