Director Bala, who is engrossed with his forthcoming venture Naan Kadavul, is nursing ambitions to enter Bollywood. However he has chosen not to wield the megaphone in Hindi. Instead the ace –director of Tamil cinema would be co-producing a Hindi film.

Buzz is that Bala is planning to remake his hit film Pithamagan in Hindi.

Noted cinematographer Thiru will wield the megaphone for the Hindi version.

Ajay Devgan is expected to play the role enacted by Vikram in the original. Talks are on to convince Abhishek Bachchan to do Suriya's role.

Pithamagan, which is about the travails of an undertaker (vettiyan) won for the Vikram the national award for the best actor.

Ajay Devgan was greatly impressed by the character and immediately gave his go ahead to do the Hindi version.
