After the block buster 'Om' the full length rowdy based film with dose of sentiments and love directed by Upendra starring Shivarajkumar in 1995, then in 'Preethse' in 2000 a remake of 'Darr' and now in 'Lav Kush' both of them are together again.

The two beautiful girls Jennifer Kotwal and Charmi are the counterparts for Shivarajkumar and Upendra in 'Lav Kush' respectively. This is a debut for popular actress Charmi in Kannada.

At the busy Basavanagudi area the Doddaganapathi Temple was flooded with fans and well wishers on Monday morning. The other popular stars like Puneeth Rajkumar, Sudeep, Darshan at the muhurut of 'Lav Kush' also resulted in traffic jam for half an hour.

While Upendra is a 'cheater' Shivarajkumar uses 'criminal' ideas to tickle the funny bones in the first of the film. In the second half the fans of Shivarajkumar and Upendra get the right quota says director Saiprakash. He wants this film to ring the cash registers like 'Mungaru Male' for his producer K.Prabhakar. Producer K.Prabhakar with script writer Mohan took six months time to get final shape of the screenplay.

Both Shivarajkumar and Upendra are immensely happy to be together again. Shivarajkumar is interested in acting in the direction of Upendra once again. Jennifer Kotwal is immensely happy to be a part of her favorites like Shivarajkumar, Upendra and music director Gurukiran. Charmi of over 25 films in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam declared that she wants Bangalore to be her second house in her career as she finds similarity in Telugu and Kannada.

Gurukiran scores the music while Giri is the cameraman. Girish Karnad, Sayyaji Shinde, Satyaprakash, Satyajith, Panda, Ruthika, Sumithra, Hema Chaudhary, Mandya Ramesh, Bank Janardhan, Kashi, Chidanand and others are in the cast. Thriller Manju is the stunt director.
