S J Suryah will direct Pawan Kalyan for a Telugu film later this year.

Suryah has announced that Puli meant for Vijay would now be made in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan in the title role. Suryah will wield the megaphone for the film. It may be recalled that his last directorial venture was with Mahesh Babu in the lead role.

Says Suryah, “Puli would be an action-packed entertainer. Hopefully it would appease Pawan fans in Andhra”.

Meanwhile Suryah is planning to direct besides act as hero for his next film in Tamil.

“Unlike my earlier movies, the film would be a different genre and would appease children”.
