Rajinikanth has a great regard for his mentor K Balachander. Introduced by K Balachander in Aboorva Ragangal, Rajinikanth has come a long way in his career spanning over three decades to establish himself as a Super star.

With bated breath, the Super star is awaiting the release of his mega movie Sivaji, getting ready for release.

Speaking on the movie, Rajinikanth, says, “With big names like Shankar, Rahman and AVM coming together, expectations have increased considerably. I am confident that Sivaji will live up to all hype”.

On working with Shankar, he says, '”After Balachander, I regard Shankar as a director to reckon with in the industry. He thinks big and executes them big on screen. His concern for the society and the issue affecting the life of common man worth a mention”.

On rumors that Sivaji would be his last film, Rajinikanth says, “It is not in my hands. If the almighty wants me to do more, then I would”.
