Veyyil, directed by Vasanthabalan, is celebrating its 100th day tomorrow.

This film, which stars Bharath, Bhavana, Pasupathy and Priyanka in the lead roles, won accolades for its poignant storyline and the making.

Pasupathy became a name to reckon with, due to his heart-rending performance in the film.

Songs by the young music director GV Prakash is a high-point of the film. So is the cinematography by Madhi.

This film is another testimony to director Shankar’s conviction of producing quality films under his banner, S Pictures. Also noteworthy is his judgemental ability, which is now evident from the successes of all three films from his banner namely, Kadhal, Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi and Veyyil.
