The Madurai Thirumalai Naicker Mahal is a safe bet for Tamil film directors. Almost all the songs canned in the historic place have gone on to become big hits.

Director Lingusamy has shot a song sequence for his forthcoming film Bheema at the palace.

The song features Vikram and Trisha and was shot by cinematographer RD Rajasekhar.

The song set to tunes by Harris Jayaraj is a romantic duet.

With the talkie portion completed, Lingusamy is busy shooting the song sequences. Bheema is expected for release this summer.
