Nenjil starring Aparna and Navdeep released recently. Aparna won appreciation from film-buffs for her performance.

A thrilled Aparna says, “I thank director Selvah for giving me an opportunity to act in the film. We shot the entire movie in London and the whole unit was friendly and co-operative. Since the day we began the film, we were confident that it would become a hit.”

Though Aparna made her debut with Pudhukottayilirundhu Saravanan about a couple of years ago, she has acted in just three films so far.

Is she choosy about her roles?

“Yes,” is her reply. “I am very choosy about my films. Only if I am impressed with the script I would accept to act in a movie. In the last couple of years, I would have denied over 50 offers,” she adds.

Aparna says, “Doing quality films is my motto.”
