This week-end, Kollywood would witness a battle at the box-office between Madhavan and Vishal.

Madhavan is back after a huge success in Thambi with Rendu, while Vishal, who scored a hat-trick with Chellamae, Sandai Kozhi and Thimiru, has Sivapathikaram hitting the screens this weekend.

Rendu, directed by Sundar C, brings together Reema Sen and Madhavan after Minnale. It is supposedly a hilarious entertainer with Maddy in a dual role. Produced by Kushboo and distributed by Oscar Ravichandran, the movie also features the leggy lass Anushka.

Sivapathigaram with Vishal and Malayalam heroine Mamta Mohandoss in the cast is an action entertainer. Music is by Vidyasagar. The movie releases with hype and expectations since Vishal's career is on a high with three back-to-back hits.
