Two lavishly made films 'Pandavaru' and 'Hubballi' are hitting the screen on this Friday. Apparently the subject for both the films is borrowed. 'Pandavaru' has the shades of 'Hulchul' of Priyadarshan and 'Hubballi' is inspired from 'Born Identity'.
'Pandavaru' a home production of Dr.Rajkumar son in law Ramkumar is directed by one of the highly respected directors of Kannada cinema K.V.Raju. Ambarish after taking over as the union minister of state for information and broadcasting this is releasing in a grand scale. The film is about five brothers. Ambarish is the elder brother. Devaraj, Jaggesh, Abijit and Ramkumar are the remaining siblings. Gurlin Chopra is the female lead. Hamsalekha has scored the music. Dasari Seenu is the cameraman.
The other film 'Hubballi' starring Sudeep and Rakshita is the home banner of reputed director N.Om Prakash Rao. Rao has invested nearly four crores of rupees on this project. Sudeep has bought the rights of Bangalore, Kolar and Tumkur areas. The highlight of this film 'Hubballi' is that it has Mysore and Hubbballi accent Kannada in it. A.R. Hemanth scores the music while K.M.Vishnuvardhana is the cameraman.
Megha Bagavathar daughter of actor Bharat Bhagavathar the third generation from veteran Honnappa Bagavathar family has made debut as sister in this film. Shobaraj, Satyajith, Chetan, Siddarth, Dharma, Shankare Gowda, Sudharani, Chitra Shenoy are also in the cast.
