After the release of his Vallavan, Silambarasan had planned to chill out to break away from his heavy schedule by going on a short vacation to San Francisco.

Buzz is that the actor has accepted to do a movie for Lakshmi Movie Makers soon after his return from vacation.

Sources say Tharun Gopi, who directed Vishal’s Thimiru, would direct the movie. Also Simbhu had held discussions with the likes of Sundar C, Vishnuvardhan for his next.

On asked about his next directorial venture, Silambarasan says, 'I would certainly love to direct a movie again. But it is not in the near future. I will take my own time. My next priority is to act in other director's films. Perhaps after completing half-a-dozen movies, I would wield the megaphone again'.
