Now we are talking about Shankar himself putting in an appearance. The happiness stems from the fact that the Big B (Amitabh Bachchan) himself has shot for a couple of scenes in the film.

Sources close to the film’s shoot have confirmed that the scenes involving Bachchan were indeed shot in Pune.

Sivaji’s shoot featuring Rajini are now being shot in Pune. A song with Nayantra was shot there recently.

With Amitabh Bachchan very busy, the team decided to shoot the scenes involving him there itself.

Though this is only a token appearance, Amitabh Bachchan’s presence will add value to the movie.

This is also the first time that he is acting in a Tamil movie.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rajini share a special rapport. Rajini has acted in several successful Tamil remakes of Amitabh Bachchan hits of the 80s.

Amitabh Bachchan also acted with Rajini in Hindi movies like Giraftaar and Hum.
