With just a few days left for Deepavali, director Perarasu is giving final touches to his film Dharmapuri.

Expectations are high on the movie following Vijayakanth's success in politics. Produced by A M Rathnam, the movie features Lakshmi Rai opposite Vijayakanth.

Shooting for the entire movie has been completed and background score by Srikanth Deva is also over.

A couple of songs glorifying Vijayakanth penned by Perarasu is already popular among the masses. Rathnam, who saw the rushes, has been optimistic that it would end up a real winner at the box office.

Also the good run of Vijayakanth's recent release Perarasu has created a lot of expectation on the movie among his fans.
