Dasavatharam progresses at rapid pace

As we have been writing regularly, the shooting for Kamal Haasan's Dasavatharam is progressing at quick pace. Director K S Ravikumar, known for churning out his films a great pace without compromising on the quality is engrossed with the project.

For the last couple of days, Dasavatharam was shot at Film City in Chennai where a huge set was put up.

Scenes involving Kamal Haasan and Mallika Sherawat were being shot. It is perhaps for the first time, Mallika Sherawat was in Chennai to shoot for the movie.

Earlier the first schedule of the movie was canned at huge sets replicating huge temples was put up at Uthandi and few scenes featuring Kamal Haasan was shot.

Dasavatharam, being produced by Oscar Films, features Kamal Haasan in different ten roles and would be completed early next years and released on 14 April, 2007.

Meanwhile, it is also learnt that Jayapradha whose pairing with Kamal in films like Salangai Oli sent many hearts aflutter, is also set to be part of the project.

Asin is of course is expected to play the heroine.
