Bollywood hot heroines and models always hold an attraction for Tamil filmmakers.

From Aishwarya to Sushmita to Manisha to Tabu, there has always been a Hindi heroine acting in Tamil at one point or the other.

But after the advent of Malayalam and Telugu heroines in Kollywood, the Bollywood brigade's charm seemed to be on the wane.

But there seems to revival of that attraction.

Koena Mitra, the leggy, hot actress of films like Ek Khilladi Ek Hasina, is now set for her Tamil debut.

Koena will pair with Shaam in a movie to be directed by a former assistant of K S Ravikumar.

The movie is titled Athini Chithini. Thangavel is the director.

Koena is also happy to be part of a Tamil film. She is positively excited and deals in such adjectives at the prospect of acting in Tamil.
