Dileep is playing an advocate for the first time in his career in his third film with Johny Antony. The film titled 'Batman' will also have Tamil's top actress Asin in it.

'Batman' is a story about an advocate who is a big failure in his job who has never won a case .He is ragged and harassed by his colleagues and relatives because he is incompatible for the job. One day he gets so depressed that he tries to run away from his surroundings but lands upon an important case in the process. He decides to have one last try to make it big but it was something that could change his life. The star cast includes regulars of Dileep cinema like Jagathy, Cochin Haneefa, Harisree Ashokan, Salim Kumar and also Hindi actors Danny and Sarath Saxena.

Dileep and Johny Antony's first film together, CID Moosa was a huge success and their second film 'Kochi Raajavu' also did reasonably well. Johny Antony completed a hatrick with The 'Thuruppu Ghulan' running to hundred days. Only change this time from his team is that their regular script writer duo Udaya Krishna and Sibi K Thomas will not be with them as they are busy with another handful of projects including that of AMMA film. V.C Ashok will be the new addition as scriptwriter to the team. Fans are eagerly looking forward to see Dileep, usually cast in soft, short dialogue roles in an outfit which demands the rendition of lot of wordage.
