Famous costume designer Mahi, turns producer with the latest Dileep flick 'Chess'. The costumer who has associated with a hundred of films in Malluwood has this desire for being a producer for long.

As Dileep agreed with the dates, Mahi in no time started the film with the debutant director Raj Babu.

Dileep, in this action suspense thriller, is acting as a blind character. The film which is in its last phase of shooting is planned as a July 4 release. This date is also a special day for Dileep.

Because, for the last five years every Dileep starrers released on this date were runaway hits. This hit wagon includes Meesa Madhavan, C.I.D. Moosa, Parakkum Thalika, Vettam and Paandippada.

And so, Mahi is in all expectations for becoming a successful producer by July four. Foreseeing it, Mahi has also announced his second venture with Suresh Gopi, to be directed by another debutante.
