Innovations have become the order of the day in Kollywood. In the competitive field, the directors and the actors are trying several means to keep themselves in the hunt.

Director Ravi, a one-time associate of director Bala, has adopted a novel approach in shooting song sequences for his maiden venture Acharya featuring Vignesh.

It is an emotional melo-drama and Ravi has been giving his best to give the movie a different feel.

Interestingly unlike contemporary directors, the director has adopted a novel method to shoot the song sequences. He has shot the sequences for all his songs even before they were tuned by Srikanth Deva and the lyrics penned by Na Muthukumar.

After shooting the sequences, he has taken the help of Na Muthukumar and Srikanth Deva in coming out with songs.

Says Ravi, it is an attempt worth a watch. I have tried my best to catch the right emotions, and I have been well supported well by my artistes and the technical crew,'

Acharya is nearing completion and would be released in the next few days.
