The young stars in Malayalam cinema are trying to find some way out from the debacle they are facing presently . The problem is that none of their films are making any initial in the box office. In the last two years only three of their films could fetch any decent returns from the theatres, as each and every Super Star films rule the box office. Many of their films just got holdover in the second day of presentations.

Now they are trying to make good by coming together in films. And the first in this step is 'Classmates', the film by Laal Jose. In the film Prithviraaj, Jayasuriya, Naren Sunil and Indrajith are sharing the lead to workout something in merit. The film which works out nostalgia of a campus gang , will be presented as an Onam offering of the youthful stars. The shooting of the film is continuing in the C M S College campus, Kottayam.
