Angry fans of Ajith held protests in various theatres where Tirupathi was screened alleging that the director Perarasu has tried to overshadow their hero in the film by playing a role which has punch dialogues and stunt sequences.

The angry fans have demanded the scenes to be chopped off from the movie.

Meanwhile, rumors are abuzz that Perarasu has completed penning a script and titled his next venture Nattarasankottai, which may feature himself in the lead role.
