Srikanth's next venture to be directed by S S Stanley was initially titled Kalla Chirippu Azhaga. Now it seems that the director has opted for a name change and the movie has been named Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai (East Coast Road).

Why a name change ?

Stanley says, 'It is a movie which begins with an incident that occurs on East Coast Road in Mahabalipuram that brings together the hero and heroine. The entire story begins and ends there. Hence we thought it would be appropriate to name the movie Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai'.

Dwelling more, he says, 'Unlike Mercury Pookal, it would be a movie which would have action and romance in right mix'.

The highlight is that the movie is being produced by actor Srikanth's personal assistant Anthanan.
